ExCeL London is our highest-volume venue. We handle the full exhibitor process — stand design, structural submission, rigging and electrical orders, timed vehicle marshalling, install, show-open cover and dismantle — as a single contract with one project manager on site from get-in to breakdown.

Halls and layout
Twin halls run either side of the central boulevard, with the north and south halls each split into nine sub-halls. Ceiling height and rigging capacity are strong across the main halls, and level drive-in access removes the forklift dependency that slows builds at older venues.
Venue rules that shape the design
- Stands over 4m, or any double-deck, need structural drawings and calculations submitted to the organiser and venue ahead of the published deadline
- Rigging must be ordered through the venue's appointed contractor — book points early, popular positions sell out
- All build vehicles are marshalled to timed slots; missing a slot can cost a half-day of build time
- ULEZ and Congestion Charge apply to every vehicle movement into the site
- Electrical and water services must be ordered in advance and terminated by the venue contractor
How we build here
We pre-build complex stands in the workshop, trial-fit the structure, then ship flat to ExCeL for a two- or three-day install. That keeps expensive on-site labour hours down and removes most of the risk from the build period.
Frequently asked questions
- How much does an exhibition stand at ExCeL London cost?
- Custom single-storey stands at ExCeL typically run £500–£950 per sqm depending on complexity, finish and AV. A double-deck costs £1,300–£1,900 per sqm of floor footprint. A typical 6x6m custom stand lands between £45,000 and £75,000 all-in, including design, build, freight, install, dismantle and on-site management.
- Do you handle the ExCeL structural submission?
- Yes. We produce the drawings, structural calculations and risk assessments, submit them to the organiser and venue, and manage any queries through to approval. You do not need to touch the paperwork.
- How long does an ExCeL stand build take?
- Most custom stands install in two to three days depending on hall access and the number of build days the organiser allows. Double-decks and anything with heavy rigging usually need the full tenancy.
- How late can we brief you for an ExCeL show?
- Eight weeks is comfortable for a full custom build. We have delivered in four when the design is kept structurally simple, but structural approval deadlines are set by the organiser and are not negotiable.
